Food and cosmetics are labeled with ingredients, but unless you have a degree in chemistry or a background in dermatology, reading the ingredients list of produce and skincare products can be like reading a foreign language book.

You should know your skin type and use four basic principles.
Firstly no matter what type of skin you have you should eliminate all bacteria, dirt, dead skin cells and other pollutants from you skin with cleansing.
Second rule is to hydrate with a moisturiser. Healthy skin will rely of the upper layers of your skin having a supply to water, which of course will make your skin vibrant and resilient to wrinkles.
Third part of the ritual is to protect. Sun and weather damage can wreak havoc on your skin and cause ageing. Antioxidants and fatty acids along with a good SPF is essential.
Last but not least daily treatment for skin problems is just as important as the previous three. Using natural products is not only food for you skin it can be the holy grail to keeping a youthful, healthy appearance.
